Brooke’s collection features a delicate application of botanical elements and fanciful birds. Sheila’s collection features hand-made whimsical designs with a layout and motif reminiscent of old-world Baroque textiles and prints.
With a studio in the Fischer building, an Art Deco era skyscraper in downtown Detroit, Brooke couldn’t help but be inspired by the paintings, marble, and tiles. She has incorporated geometrics into her work that were inspired by the beauty that surrounds her.
The entirety of Morroco was a dramatic inspiration behind Sheila’s collection. The art, the people, and architecture were amazing, beautiful and perspective changing for her.
